Finding the Right Wedding Suit for the Groom

A wedding is much more than a special occasion. It is a huge milestone and the most significant day in someone’s life. And with that being said, it is only as much important to dress yourself on your big day since it’s a commitment that will change your life forever. For a groom to look dashing, it is a must to wear something that would make him look like one. A tuxedo or a suit can be worn to make the groom look as presentable and as polished as ever. There are different kinds of tuxedo or suit that can make a groom feel uncomfortable and outdated. It is best for the groom to choose the best, and perfect looking outfit for his big day. The groom must choose a tuxedo or a suit that flatters and compliments his style, personality, and most importantly – his body type.

1. For Tall and Thin Grooms, you can wear the classic two button jacket with a notched or a simply peaked collar, but you can also wear a three or four button styled jacket. If you are slightly conscious about looking thin, you can try the double breasted jacket. And because of your body type, you can also try a style with a shoulder padding to make your shoulders look broader and more masculine. For the trousers, you can opt to wear flat trousers or the pleated ones.

2. For Tall and Muscular Grooms, a one button jacket will make your waist look thinner so choose a style with thinner lapels to help elongate your body type. Also, it is ideal to wear a shawl collar. You should also avoid wearing something that looks too tight. Grooms with tall and muscular frame can opt to wear a narrow leg trousers to make the appearance look leaner and polished.

3. For Short and Slender Grooms, it is important to choose a style that would help elongate your body type. Avoid the short and too fit kind of style. It’s a no-no for double breasted jacket and four button jackets. Look for jacket with low button, and have shoulder pads. The flat front and pleated trousers are best for your body type. You can also use a vest and a necktie to help you elongate your body type.

4. For Short and Muscular Grooms, you can opt to wear a one or two button shawl collar jacket. To help elongate your torso, the jacket should lie flat and with no gaping. Don’t wear any styles that are too tight or too fit on you. Trousers with slim legs will look great on you.
